Get to Know Us

Some partnerships work because people are alike. Ours works because we aren’t.

We’re often described as yin and yang.
The black cat and the golden retriever.
Different instincts. Different styles. Different strengths.

And together? More effective than either of us would be alone.

We believe contrasting perspectives don’t have to cause strife. In fact, they can spur success.

After nearly 40 years of combined leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, we launched The ColorWorks Group in 2021 to equip people and teams to build smarter, healthier relationships.

Along the way, we’ve trained and certified in several leading relational intelligence tools including RightPath, DISC, Working Genius, and Personal Resilience, giving us multiple lenses for helping people understand themselves and each other.

Meet Jenny

Jenny Boyett is a co-founder of The ColorWorks Group and the organization’s lead trainer. For more than two decades, she has led teams of employees and volunteers while helping people communicate and work together more effectively. On stage, she brings the concepts behind ColorWorks to life through storytelling, humor, and a natural curiosity that helps people see themselves—and each other—more clearly.

A sanguine through and through, Jenny is magnetic with audiences and deeply relational by nature. She has a gift for connecting with people in the room, whether she’s speaking to thousands or having a one-on-one conversation afterward. Her goal isn’t just to deliver a great training, it’s to build relationships that last long after the session ends.

A Georgia native and mother of four daughters (including triplets!), Jenny loves hunting for a great TJ Maxx bargain, a competitive game of pickleball, and leaving audiences laughing, learning, and convinced they won’t forget her anytime soon.

Meet Jessica

Jessica Duquette is a co-founder of The ColorWorks Group and a publishing executive who has spent more than two decades leading large, cross-functional teams of creatives and business professionals to turn big ideas into movements. She has a knack for aligning teams with different strengths around a common goal and bringing the marketing clarity that helps ideas land and stick.

An unapologetic choleric, Jessica is known for her decisiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to refine concepts until they’re both compelling and executable. She believes clarity is kind and excellence is achievable.

A Boston native now living in Georgia, she channels her competitive energy into developing leaders, cheering loudly at her children’s soccer games, and occasionally reminding her family that efficiency is a love language.
